Liam Dumont-Walker

Hometown: Oakville, Ontario

Liam began riding at the age of 13. Having pursued Classical Studies at Wilfred Laurier University, he decided to focus on his riding full-time in 2006.

Riding Lilius, Liam steadily progressed from the Low Junior/Amateur division to achieving numerous championship titles in the High Amateur-Owner division. He is now a regular competitor in the Jump Canada Talent Squad classes, and is gaining experience in FEI-sanctioned grand prix competition with Balloon JX.

In 2014, Liam qualified to compete in the Canadian Show Jumping Championships held at Toronto’s iconic Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, placing an impressive 15th overall in his debut appearance. In 2015, Liam and his mount, Lilius, captured the Angelstone summer circuit championships, the Ontario Hunter Jumper Association (OHJA) year-end circuit championship, and the 1.40m Junior/Amateur championship at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

In 2016 Liam transitioned to working full-time and became a flight attendant for West Jet.
